The contracting authority has held a tender contest in a dynamic purchasing system in accordance with the PPR §§26-4 to 26-7. The purpose of the dynamic purchasing system is to cover the need for maintenance and support on our firewall system from CheckPoint. The contracting authority has completed tender contest no. 3 among the qualified tenderers in the DPS. The entered agreement is for a period of 12 months.

VH IT Ålesund manages the agreement on behalf of Fjord, Giske, Sula and Ålesund municipalities through the public-public partnership 'eKommune Sunnmøre'.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Through this invitation to tender, the contracting authority wishes to enter into an agreement with one (1) tenderer to cover the need for maintenance and support for a firewall system from CheckPoint.

The current firewall system includes i.a:

- Physical firewall systems, which are placed at each individual municipality (a total 8 systems).

- A 2 node central cluster that is managing internet traffic.

- A 2 node central VSX cluster with 7 bodies that are managing various internal zones.

- A central firewall that manages home office connections and access for external consultants.

Option: Price for 10 hours of IRT service when renewing the portfolio.
