Since 1 January 2020, Bergen municipality has taken over the ownership of the part of service lines that are located in public roads. This means that the sewage network for which the municipality is responsible has increased and that many pipes have shared responsibility. Thus, there have been higher requirements for carrying out the inspection of these "shared" pipes.

In connection with the renewal of the public pipeline network, mapping and / or condition assessment of private pipelines connected to the public network is carried out.
