Åsnes kommune [Åsnes Municipality] will build a new primary school, a signal building in function and values that will be adaptable to be able to meet future learning needs.

The new primary school will reflect (in content and appearance) the advantages and future potential of the Åsnes community and region. Therefore the school will be built in timber.

At the dialogue conference, the contracting authority will present their needs and challenges connected to the project in more detail. In the dialogue conference it is desirable to have oral input from the participants as to how the named needs and challenges in this project can be covered in the best possible manner.

The conference will be held on Teams, 22.11.2021 and is open to all interested parties.

Åsnes kommune [Åsnes Municipality] will build a new primary school, a signal building in function and values that will be adaptable to be able to meet future learning needs.

The new primary school will reflect (in content and appearance) the advantages and future potential of the Åsnes community and region. Therefore the school will be built in timber.

The municipality has called the project ‘Reisen til læringstunet - vilje, samskaping og bærekraft’ med visjonen ‘Skolen inn i samfunnet - samfunnet inn i skolen’ [‘Journey to the learning platform - will, co-creation and sustainability with the vision ‘the School in society - the society in the school’]. The primary school is part of the learning platform in Åsnes Municipality. The learning platform is a limited area that will give children safe schooling from 1st class until and including sixth form college. The learning platform also facilitates leisure activities for the students also after school hours. The new primary school will be adapted so that it can facilitate supplementary leisure activities for children and have areas available for voluntary organisations.
