Lørenskog Municipality needs assistance so that it can fulfil the teaching plan for all 7th years in Lørenskog, and will need 3-4 qualified swimming and lifesaving instructors for a period of approx. 10-12 weeks each year, who can participate in accordance with the teaching plan.

Lørenskog Municipality intends to enter into a contract with Lørenskog og Rælingen Kappsvømmingsklubb (LRK) and Norges Livredningsselskap Nedre Romerike after LRK participated in a pilot project together with Lørenskog Municipality in order to develop a teaching plan connected to the new competence requirements for outdoor swimming and lifesaving in the curriculum (LK20).

The pilot included, amongst other things, sessions and exercises where pupils in the 7th year had five sessions of teaching and experience with being in the water and lifesaving in outdoor water. LRK's contribution in the pilot was 3-4 instructors who carried out an activity in the water in three of the sessions, and these instructors had been given training and were certified by Norges Livredningsselskap Nedre Romerike.

Lørenskog Municipality intends to go directly to the suppliers, Lørenskog og Rælingen Kappsvømmingsklubb and Norges Livredningsselskap Romerike krets, for the procurement of training personnel for outdoor swimming.

This procurement is planned through a direct procurement as a market survey has been held on interest in participating in a tender without any other interested parties than the mentioned suppliers.
