Statens innkjøpssenter is in an introductory phase for the establishment of a new joint contract for the reuse and recycling of ICT equipment. The contract period is scheduled to be 2 years with an option for up to 2 years so that the maximum duration can be 4 years.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Electronic waste makes up the world's fastest growing flow of waste. More and more contracts are established for ICT equipment, and there is an increasing need for efficient recycling schemes that are in accordance with the regulations.

With this background, Statens innkjøpssenter, c/o DFØ, would like to establish a joint government contract for the reuse and recycling of ICT equipment. The aim of this prior information notice is to get input and feedback from the market on how Statens innkjøpssenter can hold a contest for the reuse and recycling of ICT equipment. The market is thus encouraged to use this opportunity to provide constructive feedback so that the procurement is established in an appropriate manner for both the entities and the suppliers.

The tentative scope of the procurement includes everything from collecting used equipment from government entities to the delivery of this equipment to certified reuse stations or preparation of products for further sale.

The procurement will provisionally include PC clients (laptop and stationary), PC monitors, TV screens, mobile telephones, tablets, and additional equipment. Additional equipment is provisionally defined as; keyboards, microphones, mouse, cables, cameras, loudspeakers, projectors, docking stations. The scope has not yet been finally defined.

Statens innkjøpssenter will try to facilitate combing reuse and recycling with work training and inclusion in working life for vulnerable groups in the form of a reserved contract. The contract will, thus, give social gains with the environment and social responsibility have a central part.
