E16 Bjørum — Skaret
The procurement comprises engineering design services for and the construction of a new four-lane motorway and accompanying work on the stretch E16 Bjørum – Skaret.
The main work will consist of an open air zone with bridge constructions and comprehensive rock cuttings, the establishment of road tunnels and electro and automation installations for two-way regulated tunnels, with connection to the Road Traffic Centre's systems.
Approx. 8.4 km of new four-lane motorway is to be developed, with split level junctions and a speed limit of 100/110 km/h. The stretch consists of approx. 4.2 km open air zone with high rock cuttings along large parts of the stretch, and approx. 3.4 km + 0.8 km tunnel stretches.
The work also includes the construction of bridges, including demolition of an existing large concrete bridge. Split level junctions with flyover bridges and connections to the existing road system must also be developed, including short stretches on local/county roads.

Option 1 Avtjerna: Concerns an established site access from the existing E16 for the joint project Ringeriksbanen/E16 by Avtjerna. See chapter D for a description of the work.
Option 2: Concerns the demolition and removal of the dam for Bjørum sag, dam to the north of Isievla bridges.
Includes the removal of matter from the dam and commissioning a new river course.
