New system for an encoder in the health service - Request for information (RFI)

The Directorate of eHealth is preparing a procurement of a new system for an encoder in the health service. The intention of this prior information notice (RFI) is to get knowledge on software that can be used to establish the system described in the attached document. The document includes provisional functional and non-functional requirements, as well as questions that we would like answered by suppliers.

Norsk Helsenett is assisting the Norwegian Directorate of eHealth in the work with this RFI through their role as a service centre for procurements in the state health administration.

Questions about this prior information notice are to be sent to Jørgen Iversen in NHN via the communication module in Mercell. All answers are also to be sent via Mercell.

We request that interested suppliers send their answers by 31 January 2022.

Oslo

The Directorate of eHealth has a national administration responsibility for a number of health encoders. In addition there is an administrative encoder that is referred to from e-health standards and/or used in an independent basis by the health service. See Appendix 1. Overview of code systems in the attached document.

Several of the health encoders (but not all) have been made available in the search service finnkode.no. The administrative can be found on the service volven.no.

The Directorate of eHealth would now like to gather all the encoders in one service. The intention is to make the entire content more available for the target groups (health personnel, system suppliers within the health service, actors in Norwegian health administration, and other interested parties).
