This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Sea-Based Weapon Systems, intends to award a sole source contract modification to extend the term of contract HQ0276-15-C-0002 with Corvid Technologies, 153 Langtree Campus Dr. Ste. 401, Mooresville, NC 28117.  This modification provides for the extension of the period of performance to continue mathematical algorithm development, computational analysis, and range safety analysis to include flight test concept development, through execution in support of MDA flight test missions. The anticipated period of performance extension will be from September 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 with an approximate value of $7 million.

The statutory authority for the intended contract is 10 U.S.C. § 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements.

This notice of proposed contract action as required by FAR 5.201(b)(ii) is not a request for proposals.  If there is a contractor who reasonably believes it can execute this requirement to meet the Government’s objectives in regard to schedule and performance, without incurring substantial duplication of cost or unacceptable delay, the responsible source(s) may submit a capability statement not exceeding 10 pages; partial solutions not accepted. Requests for subcontracting opportunities should be directed to the prime, Corvid Technologies. 

Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered in the decision to sole source and for enhancing market research for future associated procurements.  The Government will not pay nor issue a response for any information submitted.  All responses must be submitted via email to the points of contact listed below no later than the specified response date.  No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
