The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to the New Generation Research, Inc. for subscription to a database that provides information on private and public business bankruptcy filings, in-depth news and research reports on the largest public company bankruptcies, as well as alert capabilities of new development in bankruptcy cases. The Contracting Officer has reviewed the requirement and determined that New Generation Research, Inc. is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) because no other sources have been identified that can provide all of the bankruptcy information required by the SEC.

The SEC intends to award a purchase order to New Generation Research, Inc. on or about September 23, 2019. The total award value of the purchase order will be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The anticipated period of performance is for the award will be a Base Period of 24 months and three Option Periods of 12-months each.


This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
