EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project (PTEGP), Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab seeks to invite the applications of qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:

Sr. #	Position	Qualifications/ Experience/Skills	Post(s)
1.	Economist	Post graduate university degree in Economics, Finance, Economic modelling, Macroeconomics; Econometrics, Development Macroeconomics; or any relevant field. At least 10 years of work experience with demonstrated experience in developing economic models and forecasts to assist in developing cost-effective interventions, and conducting economic and financial analysis of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and public facilities. command on using and effectively employing econometrics software for modelling and simulation (e.g. Stata, EViews, GAMS MATLAB, or equivalent), data sources and data compilation Ability to compile and analyses data, interpret and write comprehensive economic assessment reports in English including explanation of the ERR, IRR, NPV and other economic viability parameters for investment project financing (IPF) Written and presentation skills will be checked through review of the original work of the Economist validated by reference check.	01

Duration of the assignment will be 3 months.

Selection Method: A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in Section V ‘Selection of Individual Consultants’ World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 (Revised July 2014).
