Arab Republic of Egypt African Development Bank (AfDB) Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF) Informal Settlements Upgrade Technical Assistance P-EG-100-012-5500155011103     REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST    (CONSULTING SERVICES- INDIVIUAL SELECTION)      JOB TITLE: Procurement Expert (Part Time) Project ID No.: P-EG-100-012   1.   The Arab Republic of Egypt, represented by the Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF), has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of “the Informal Settlements Upgrade Technical Assistance”, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for a Part-time Procurement Expert. 2.   The Procurement Expert will be responsible for providing procurement support to the project and reporting directly to the project manager. 3.   The Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF) now invites eligible Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants should provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (certificates, documents, references to similar assignments, letters of reference, etc.…). the shortlisting criteria are: A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Law or a related field; At least 5 years’ experience; working with AFDB, WBG or any international organization is desirable. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving and negotiating skills with ability to balance project objectives and procurement requirements with client’s needs; Demonstrate to be initiative, detailed oriented, and very good analytical skills; Excellent knowledge in English & Arabic languages; Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
