Overview :

Objective

The main objective of this Invitation to Bid is to procure the complete units of Off- Grid Boxes Technology Solution for bringing Clean Energy & Water to the Off-Grid Tanzania rural communities in Ikungi - Singida, Bunda Islands and Busega District which could support consumptive use and productive use for the mentioned areas.

 

The Offeror should provide Off – Grid Box Technology Solution with capacity to provide Clean energy and water to minimum of 400 households and households which may have approximately min.2000 people at go. Further the technology should provide energy to support the water pump with the following specifications pump with capacity minimum of V=28m3/hours, minimum head pressure H=18m, power 5.5kW to 380V, 50Hz with electronic pressure gauge (sensor) for pressure control in the network, Borehole depth (head) 120m Storage tank 75m3 Raiser of 12-20m.

 

The Off – Grid Box   should demonstrate all advance technologies and have efficient and user friendly to generate electricity and supply safe drinking water for rural communities and technical specification should be furnished as below:

Shelter (Container) - External Dimensions:

  • L x W X H: 1.98m x 1.95m x 1.91m (6’ 6” x 6’ 5” x 6’ 3”)

  • Photovoltaic roof dimension 4x5m (13.12’ x 16.40’)

  • Dry weight 1300kg

Photovoltaic Array

  • 12 modules 330wp each (4kWp)

  • Battery: Lithium LiFePO 5.5 kWh with PAYG Add-On 17.5 kWh total

  • Inverter: 10KVA (20 kW peak,)

Water Treatment

  • Standard Model: 1000 liters per hour (2 stage filters and UV sterilization)

  • Water Storage 1000littres with possibility of External tank

Addition Requirements;

  • Satellite, 3G and WIFI Connector

  • Extra photovoltaic modules

  • 1000W – Wind Turbine

  • Chlonne Dispenser

  • PAYG Solution

  • Mobile Payment system (In built)

  • Remote monitoring and reporting system
