SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country: Republic of North Macedonia Name of Project: Primary Education Improvement Project Contract Title: PROCUREMENT OF SCIENCE LABORATORIES EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS Loan No.: 9182-MK RFB Reference No.: MK-MES-217553-GO-RFB/020-21   The Republic of North Macedonia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Primary Education Improvement Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of science laboratories equipment and resources for primary schools. The Ministry of Education and Science now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply of science laboratories equipment and resources for primary schools in North Macedonia, in particular for chemistry, mathematics, biology and physics as subject areas. The goods should be delivered to 358 primary schools in urban and rural areas across North Macedonia. Bidding will be conducted through open international procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised November 2017, and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
