The European Railway Clusters involved in the "Voluntary Partnership" ESCP-4i "PERES-Promoting European Rail Excellence outSide EU" apply for Strand 1 with even more determination based on what we have done and learnt in these 14 months. In fact, even if our know-how and concrete experience in Internationalizazion strategies and iniziatives has in this period greatly evolved, we have also realised that in order to establish a long-term entity and define a Joint Strategy and Roadmap involving so many Clusters we do need to make any single step with the necessary support that the COSME program can provide us with. The PERES proposal, therefore, is articulated in 5 WPs: WP1: “Project Management” WP2: “Information analysis and sourcing” WP3: “Internationalization training and strategy building methodology” WP4: “ESCP Model and Identity and Internationalization Strategy Plan and Implementation Roadmap” WP5: “Project Dissemination & Communication”. The PERES proposal can give a concrete answer to the requests of the European Parliament to the European Commission contained in the “Resolution on the competitiveness of the European rail supply industry” adopted in June 2016. We aim, in fact, at being the focal point for internationalization in third countries of the SMEs operating in the Railway sector members of our Clusters (>1,000) through the ESCP-4i PERES.
