The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest EOI) from duly registered companies for the Provision of brand-new C-130 pallets and accessories from manufacturers or their authorized representatives to support C-130 cargo operations. The pallets comprises of: (a). C-130 Material Handling Support System Description. The (463L) system comprises several components namely • Air Cargo Pallet/ C-130 Pallet ; NSN: 1670-00-820-4896 (463L HCU-6/E PALLET) • Air Pallet Net Assembly, Full top and two side nets for C130 Pallets, Side net NSN: 1670-00-969-4103; 463L Cargo Nets; Side nets x 2 NSN: 1670-00-996-2780. Accessories include: Sizes: 108"W x 88"L x 2-1/4"H, resistant to UV-light, moisture, heat and corrosion, construction must be bonded with extrusions and aluminum facings Must be equipped with 22 tie down rings each with 7,500 lbs capacity in any direction, compatible with 463L load restraint system Please Note: that the Air Cargo Pallet/ C-130 Pallet (463L-HCU-6/E Pallet) should be brand new and from recognized/authorized (b). C-130 Standard Pallet description-463 HCU-6/E PALLET. The requirement is an AAR's 463L HCU-6/E Pallet that has been the mainstay for C-130 cargo movement since the early 1960's. The pallet required is made of a balsa wood core and aluminum skin, this lightweight pallet is designed to be loaded and off-loaded on the C-130 aircraft.Accessories include:Full top nets C130 Pallets, 463L Cargo Nets, nets have quick snap hooks and adjusters one top restraint net, NSN: 1670-00-969-4103 two side restraint nets, NSN: 1670-00-996-2780 (C ). Aircraft Pallet Couplers, NSN: 1670-01-061-0990. Pallet Couplers used to marry two to three 463L Pallets to air transport oversized cargo; Used to marry 2-3 HCU-6/E 463L pallets to air transport oversized cargo. Constructed of cast aluminum and plated steel hardware. Two couplers are required to marry each pair of HCU-6/E 463L pallets. Square couplers used to marry pallets for air transport in aircraft equipped with a 463L cargo handling system. Rectangular couplers used to marry pallets for air transport in KC-10 or DC-10 Aircraft 3. The Vendor shall provide the requirement with a warranty to the UN. The UN requires a minimum of one (1) year warranty on every component of the C-130 pallets and accessories. The vendor is invited to provide colored pictures of the pallets and accessories as part of the technical proposal. 4. Delivery shall be four weeks INCOTERMS 2020 ( Goma), DRC 5.Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid. 6.MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the Invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities.
