Description
The United Nations (UN) with headquarters in New York City is looking for qualified companies with experience in providing auction services. The UN is specifically looking for reputable companies that have successfully undertaken auctions for items similar to what the UN is planning to auction. Interested companies should have high regard for honesty, integrity and professionalism. The UN is planning to auction two art pieces. These are paintings by Wang Shuping and Amelia Peláez: (1) Wang Shuping Hawk (KAA074); and (2) Amelia Peláez Naturaleza Muerta #3 (KAA1255) Following receipt of expressions of interest (EOI) from potential companies, the UN may proceed with issuance of a formal solicitation of proposals or bids to identify the successful company through effective competition. Details of the UN's requirement including evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation document. Submission of EOI does not constitute an obligation by the United Nations to include your company in this specific procurement exercise, neither does it assure that a respective tender exercise will be undertaken in due course
