1. The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) intends to establish a Contract for the Provision of Dangerous Goods Training for the shipment of dangerous goods by Air for its staff in South Sudan. Interested service providers are requested to submit their expression of interest for consideration.
2. The resultant contract is expected to be for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional period of two (2) years of one (1) year each. The initial training programme is expected to be conducted in Juba not later than June 2018.
Requirement
3. The Dangerous Goods Training is to provide UNMISS selected staff with in-depth knowledge and understanding on the applicability, implementation, limitation, classification, identification, labelling and documentation required in the shipment of dangerous goods. The training is expected to enhance staff skills in the subject area.
Conditions
4. Interested IATA accredited and certified service providers are encouraged to submit their EOIs by email, courier or hand delivery to the address indicated below. The EOI must include, at a minimum, the following documentation/information:
(a) Before submitting EOIs, interested service providers are required to be fully registered at basic level in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using this link https://www.ungm.org.
(b) Vendors are to provide proof that they are registered in UNGM under the specified UN Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC Code No: 86100000).
(c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM vendor registration number under the specified UNSPSC code.
5. The EOI, clearly marked “Provision of IATA Dangerous Goods Training for the shipment of Dangerous Goods by Air for UNMISS staff in South Sudan”, must be received by UNMISS no later than COB of Monday, 19 March 2018, to the following addresses:
