Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites suitably qualified firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Provision of Digital Taxi Transport Service employing ‘Real-time’ technology for official use within Nairobi and its environs. The scope of requirement entails the vendor providing a minimum of 15 taxi services every morning and a similar number in the evening on every official working day. On average, there is demand for about twenty (20) other taxi transport services required across UNON and other UN Agencies per day but on an ad-hoc basis. During the UN-Habitat Governing Council meetings and United Nations Environmental Assembly (UNEA) meeting held once annually at UN Complex, taxi users fluctuate up to over 30-orders per day. The digital taxi contractor is expected to meet such sporadic demands without fail. The contract is envisaged for an initial three years with options to extend for two one-year periods for a possible total of five years (3+1+1). The solicitation document shall provide details on the terms of reference and other requirements to bidders.
