Description

1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the electrical rewiring of a main building (2 floors), 9 accommodation containers, 2 ablutions, gym and laundry room situated at CP10, Deryneia, Cyprus. 2. The requirement includes, but is not limited to the following: - electrical installation of surface mounted electrical wiring within all buildings, accommodation containers and ablutions. - replacement of all street lights with new solar street lights. - installation of new main underground cables. - provision of all necessary equipment (distribution boards, cables, switches, sockets, circuit breakers, trunking, light fittings and ceiling fans). 3. The project also includes the removal of the existing cables and other materials (all cables and materials made reduntant as a result of the installations shall remain the property of UNFICYP). 4. Interested vendors shall have the opportunity to attend the mandatory site visit as part of the solicitation exercise. 5. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercises. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest in the requirements by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Mr. Panayiotis Savva either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email [email protected] no later than Thursday, 30 November 2017. 6. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
