The United Nations is planning to invite competitive proposals for the long term supply of fuel and associated services in support of the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS). Description of requirement: The primary aim is to enter into a long-term fuel contract, which, inter-alia will include the provision of Jet A-1, Diesel, Gasoline and Oils and Lubricants to UNSOS at locations in Somalia and Kenya. The requirements entail the use of commercial facilities, as well as the establishment and operation of UNSOS turnkey fuel sites, on wheel services in selected locations, storage and maintenance of fuel reserves, provision of oil and lubricants, into aircraft, into vehicle and generator refueling services and bulk delivery services including the establishment of a quality control programme. The full details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents. Formal solicitation will require the submission of bid securities.
