1. The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) intends to establish a long term contract for the provision of Media News Summary to UNMISS on daily basis. Interested service providers are requested to submit their expression of interest for consideration. 2. Description of General Requirement: The Media news summary is to be provided on daily basis from Monday to Sunday (Including public holidays). The Contractor will be expected to; prepare summary of daily news broadcast carried by SSTV, provide reports on English news broadcast, compile stories carried in news channel, with headlines first for each story. The company will be required to capture important references and quotes in particular names and functional titles of personalities interviewed or quoted and right transcript. All reports to be submitted by internet to email addresses to be provided by UNMISS. 3. The resultant contract is expected to be for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional period of two (2) years of one (1) year each. 4. Contractors must have the capacity to provide the services on daily basis. 5. Conditions: 5.1 Interested service providers are invited to submit their EOIs by email, courier or hand delivery as indicated below. The EOI must include, at a minimum, the following documentation/information: (a) Before submitting their EOIs, interested vendors are required to be fully registered at basic level in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using this link https://www.ungm.org. (b) Vendors to provide proof that they are registered for the particular requirement in UNGM under the specified UN Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC Code No: 82000000). (c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM vendor registration number under the specified UNSPSC code. 6.
