Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) hereby requests interested firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Provision of Survey on Forest Crime in the Lower Mekong Region(LMR) for United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) UNEP is looking to hire a Service Provider to survey citizen knowledge, attitudes and perceptions (KAP) about forest crime in the 5 LMR countries (Cambodia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam) + China, for a total of 2.450 respondents. The survey is aimed to understand the current situation of the forest crimes-related issues, challenges and opportunities in the LMR + China to combat forest crimes, as well as the knowledge, attitude, and practice of the campaign’s target audience groups. Key deliverables include: • Design survey protocol and questionnaire • Implement initial baseline quantitative surveys that lead to a population segmentation model (knowledge, attitudes and practices) in each of the LMR countries + China (through data analysis and reporting, as well as • the establishment of a Monitoring and Evaluation framework (longitudinal database) to allow follow-up surveys This survey will improve the capacities of LMR countries to effectively monitor and evaluate the impact of future communications campaigns and to track how attitudes, behaviours and social norms change over time in each country as a result of the campaigns.
