The World Health Organization, South East Asia Region (SEAR), requests the following information from vendors who have the capability and required certifications to supply Radiological Response Kits.

The Scope of this request is as follows:

            i. Supply of Radiological Response Kits (Detection)

Personal radiation detection kits along with devices should meet the following minimum criteria:

• A new generation of portable self-reading devices
• Providing real time measurements
• Ability to measure both gamma and neutron radiation
• Have alarm function  (light or sound signal or both)
• Robust (water, dust, shock resistant)
• Should not require a calibration and can be kept turned off for a long period of time
• Can be used by lay public/non specialist with  minimum guidance
