Description: The RCMP requires a contractor to provide all labour, materials, equipment, transportation and daily site supervision necessary to provide janitorial services in accordance with the Request for Proposal and Annex “A” – Janitorial Services, for the RCMP in Edmonton, Alberta during the period of the contract. The contract period will be for two years from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two additional one-year periods. Routine cleaning is required five (5) times a week. Hours to work for the cleaning staff will be determined by the Contractor and RCMP prior to contract being awarded. Security Requirement: The contractor is required to have all personnel working on site to be security cleared at the level of reliability Status Security Clearance as verified by the Personnel Security Unit (PSU) of the RCMP. The contractor SHALL NOT remove or make copies of any DESIGNATED or CLASSIFIED information or assets from the identified work site. Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
