Description of the assignment: Support the National Observatory for Sustainable Development to achieve its mandate to promote SDG Implementation.   

Duty station: The consultant is expected to be in Kuwait for the duration of the assignment and will be based at GSSCPD office

Period of assignment/services: 6 Months

Institutional Arrangement

1. The consultant will work under the overall guidance of the Assistant Secretary General for Supreme Council Affairs and Future Foresight at the GSSCPD, and under direct supervision of the Head of the National Observatory for Sustainable Development Department at GSSCPD. The latter will be responsible to provide the existing information and the access to any related information that is essential to complete the assignment.
2. The consultant will closely coordinate with the Project Management team of the ICDI/KNDP project.
3. All submitted deliverables, reports, developed papers (reports, TOR, technical guidelines,  etc.) are subject to GSSCPD and UNDP Programme Analyst approval. These documents will serve as justification of payments.
4. The consultant will be based in GSSCPD, GSSCPD will provide with access to printing machine, and internet.
