REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

This REOI is for future sourcing purpose and is intended to screen the market and does not impact current LTAs
Description of requirements:
UNICEF is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible vendors in preparation for a solicitation exercise for various UNICEF Education items categories. The categories identified are listed below:
Category 1: Paper Printing (recycle paper)
Category 2: Office/Stationery Supplies
Category 3: Publications/Reading and Learning Materials-English-French- Spanish
Category 4: Office/Stationery Supplies/Furniture/Machine &Equipment Supplies with Catalogue
Category 5: Students' supplies
Category 6: Classroom’ Supplies
Category 7: Play materials
Category 8: Visibility materials (Decals, Flags and Banners)
Category 9: Physical education/Sport
For an itemised list of products with detailed specification, please refer to accompanying Excel spreadsheet (Annexes 1& 2) which is an example and is not exhaustive. U materials are not standard and will be not found in the Catalogue.
Potential suppliers:
This REoI is addressed to vendors with experience in the sourcing and supply of a wide range of commodities pertaining to the above citatory of items.
UNICEF is particularly interested in identifying competitive vendors that can ideally offer all items for administrative efficiency. However, it is not a mandatory criteria. Vendors are to review the list and express interest in the commodity group fit for its business structure. it is not mandatory to express interest in all commodity group.
To be considered for the planned tender it is preferable, but not a requirement for potential suppliers to have a website providing detail listing of their product and service range.
SECTION A: Vendor/s meeting below criteria are encouraged to express interest
Interested Vendors must submit all of their Quality Management System certifications and ISO certification.
Vendors must be registered in UNGM and provide registration number
ISO 9001 certification is desirable but not Mandatory
Vendors to confirm having all required certificates of conformity as listed in the product specification list. Test reports for all products will be required at the solicitation
Vendors to provide In-House Quality Control (QC) and inspection processes for incoming and outgoing goods
Interested vendors must submit all of their Quality Management System certifications and ISO certification
Vendors to specify available warehouse space of the company
Vendors will be required to provide full details of any third (3rd) party company contracted for supply of all/any item for which expression of interest is submitted
Audited balance sheets and income statements must be provided to the UNICEF Supplier Evaluation Unit when requested
SECTION B: REQUIREMENT OF PRODUCT/SERVICES CERTIFICATION
Only products/services having pre-market approvals / market clearances will be considered in the planned solicitation.
SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT:
The UN strongly encourages all vendors to actively participate in the Global Compact.

SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT:
UNICEF Supply Division is looking for alternative materials to be used in the products on this REOI which could be considered sustainable to the environment during the raw manufacturing process all the way to disposal by the end user. Should you have a better solution than the one specified for the raw material component of the product, you are requested to highlight in your response to this REOI or by providing link to your website containing full detail.

Prices are not required at this stage;
Questions about e.g. conformity of the vendor’s products will not be entertained;
This REoI does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EoI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation document when issued;
UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation document.
UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REoI and/or solicitation process.
