The Civil Society Democratic Governance Facility (Amkeni Wakenya) is a flagship project of UNDP established in 2008 to provide coordinated technical and financial support to non-state actors working on democratic governance in Kenya.

Amkeni Wakenya invites interested and eligible non-state actors including NGOs, FBOs, Academic Institutions, CBOs to submit proposals for a REPEAT-CALL7 Call for proposals for the award of grants in a programme entitled “Strengthening Civic Space for Realization of Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs in Kenya”. This is a REPEAT CALL7 for proposals for projects to be implemented in 3 counties of TURKANA, KILIFI & KWALE with focus on the following 3 interventions areas:

1. Public participation (Turkana & Kwale Counties).
2. Support to marginalized groups (Turkana County)
3. Engagement of CSOs with county governments on planning, budgeting and project/programme social audit. (Kilifi County)
