The main purpose of the assignment is to the purpose of this assignment is to review the Investment Strategy for Botswana: 2009-2016 and develop a revised national investment strategy. The national investment strategy for Botswana was last developed in 2009. The strategy was to be implemented up 2016. It has lapsed and was not renewed/revised. There is therefore the exigent necessity to revise the strategy to ensure that the current challenges relating to investment are adequately addressed.
