Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a re-launch of RFP-2018-01 that was originally launched on 26 January 2018. The RFP has been re-launched following technical difficulties experienced by several applicants during the bidding period. Except for the shortened new submission deadlines, the content of the RFP is identical, and all previous applicants who previously submitted bids are encouraged to either submit the same proposals or enhanced ones.

The proposals received during the original launch have not been reviewed by UNAIDS and will be discarded. Only fully completed proposals submitted through the e-tendering system during the relaunch period will be considered.

The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contractual agreement with successful bidders and to select a suitable contractor or contractors to carry out scientific research, writing and editing of public documents in English. This will be done in close consultation and collaboration with UNAIDS and its stakeholders.

UNAIDS will enter into a Long Term Agreement with each suitable contractor that will be valid for a period of three years. UNAIDS is an organization that is dependent on donor contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are therefore requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet UNAIDS requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.
