Description :The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contracter to support strategy development and an implementation plan for UNAIDS’ work with high-level advocates including its Goodwill Ambassadors following the recent approval of the Global AIDS Strategy 2021-2026 and the adoption by Member States of the Political Declaration on HIV and AIDS: Ending Inequalities and Getting on Track to End AIDS by 2030.
Key requirements
a. Review of current work with high-level advocates and existing networks as well as an analysis of current trends and best practice within the UN and elsewhere.
b. Updated Guidelines, due diligence process, risk assessment and mitigation measures, governance and systems required to support this work including staffing and budget requirements for UNAIDS work with high-level advocates
c. Roster of potential new advocates
d. Strategy and two-year implementation plan
e. Engagement tools and outline for other accompanying assets that may be required
f. Support for 1-2 high profile engagements, including for World AIDS Day (1 December 2021)
Timeline: 5 months.
