Description

Communication and Consultation Facility (CCF) to support the participation of the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Delegation to the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) during a two-year period.
The resource person (CCF Manager will serve as an independent support facility for the PCB Delegation and will work in close collaboration with the UNAIDS Secretariat on following:
1.Internal communication and External communications
3. Delegate recruitment and orientation of new Delegates
5. NGO Report coordination: Provide technical and administrative support for the development of the PCB NGO Delegation's reports, including contract arrangements with external consultant(s) (1 annual PCB NGO Report).
6. Document storage and archival work: Archiving reports and other documents, ensuring work is well
documented and easily accessible for future use.
7. Website and social media maintenance: Providing all services and equipment (including server) necessary to host and update the PCB NGO Delegation's website and social media accounts. The hosting plan or alternative hosting options would need to be administered by the bidder and included in the offer. Support development of infographics to be disseminated to public via communication media platform.
8. Travel arrangements: manage travel and logistics for CCF and other entities for PCB and other meetings, as needed.
9. Contract management of consultants: Managing (competitive selection, issuing and supervision) contracts for technical experts, including researchers, process facilitators, trainers, editors and translators, among others.
10. Coordination of delegate participation in PCB meetings: Coordination and providing technical and programme support to the PCB NGO Delegation during PCB meetings. Support in organizing Delegation side events and meetings.
11. Support for accountability processes: providing support in Delegation accountability processes and
mechanisms.
12. Support the Orientation, Accountability and Recruitment (OAR) Working Group in tracking the participation of delegates to ensure their effective participation and their development to conduct the Delegation's work, especially in the first year of their engagement on the Delegation.
13. Facilitation of constituency engagement: Facilitating constituency/civil society engagement in PCB processes and activities
14. Reporting to UNAIDS: Preparing and submitting reports as required by the contract
15. Support for and monitoring of Delegation's workplan and activities
16. Support for Delegation retreat: Supporting the Delegation's Retreat Working Group in the preparation and conduct of the retreat, including inputs on the retreat programme; logistical support; and documentation.
17. Support for Delegation activities at the International AIDS Conference
18. Support in policy analysis and advocacy: Where appropriate and able, compiling and synthesizing background documents, and providing technical support in informing the PCB NGO Delegation's policy, analyses and advocacy on key global HIV policy issues
19. Support development of PCB NGO Delegation Working Groups' workplans: Provide input and guidance to Working Groups in the development of their annual workplans
