Request for Proposal (RFP 2022.05) - Consultancy support for writing the Unitaid 2022-2026 Strategy Narrative and related Investment Case Narrative 1. The purpose of this RFP is to seek qualified firm or individuals to support Unitaid in writing the Unitaid 2022-2026 Strategy Narrative and related Investment Case Narrative. 4. Bidders are invited to submit a proposal for the above mentioned Request for Proposal in accordance to the documents attached in the "Tender Document" tab. 5. Proposals must be submitted and uploaded via UNGM, “Tender Documents” tab no later than 22 February 2022 at 17:00 hours, Geneva time. *********************************************************************************************************************************** Objective of the consultancy: Unitaid is now in the process of developing its new strategy (for the 2022-2026 strategic period). At the time of posting this RFP, Unitaid has made extensive progress in the complex process of stakeholder consultation, has finalized an external review of its previous strategic period (available on Unitaid’s website), and identified opportunities and priorities for the next strategic period, drawing upon lessons learned from the current strategic period. Unitaid’s vision, mission, strategic objectives, programmatic priorities and guiding principles have been articulated in a strategic framework. The objective of this activity is to support Unitaid Secretariat in writing the Unitaid 2022-2026 Strategy Narrative and related Investment Case Narrative. Qualification of Firm and Consultants: The Contractor, as well as the proposed consultants, shall have expertise and more than ten years’ experience in the following: • Experience in drafting strategic communication documents targeting key external stakeholders, including donors, decision makers, political leaders, diverse partners. • Demonstrated track record in developing strategic communications for resource mobilization, investment cases and/or other related areas. • Experience analyzing and interpreting data and articulating related key findings in accessible communications products. • Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to distil technical subjects in clear and accessible language. • Strong understanding of global health, in particular in the areas of HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and global health pandemic response. • Excellent organizational skills and project management experience. • Demonstrated understanding of Unitaid’s strategy and business model would be an added advantage. • Proficiency in English. The final deliverables must be submitted in English.
