UNAIDS Team
The overall objective of the consultancy is to document successful cases from ESA countries that are identified by the UN Joint teams led by the UNAIDS Country Office in each country.
Following are the specific objectives set for the consultancy:
1. Refine the criteria for considering the cases as successful/ promising practice to amplify them within and outside the countries.
2. Develop a methodology with clear tools for data collection, analysis, and presentation for the case studies.
3. Produce high quality case studies for knowledge management, accountability, resource mobilization and scaling-up of proven interventions/models.
4. Produce a Slide deck of each case and make presentation to the UNAIDS Regional Knowledge Hub Team (that includes country focal persons (FPs)).
Scope of the work
The case studies should be documented in English language, and each must meet the standard of the language for publication. The consultant should arrange for gathering information in local language as required. Documentation will cover the cases identified by the Country Focal Person for the knowledge hub with some basic information already available.
15 Cases will be documented from the following countries:
Angola
Eswatini
Kenya
Uganda
Namibia
Malawi
Each case will have to be presented in a standard format as individual Chapter of one document.
