Supply contract prior information notice

Location — ACP/Caribbean region/Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

3.Programme title:

10^th European Development Fund (EDF) Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Modernisation of the health sector in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — phase II.

EDF financing agreement.

5.Contracting authority:

The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, represented by the National Authorising Officer for EDF Operations, Kingstown, SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.

6.Contract description:

This contract includes the supply, delivery, installation, warranty and after-sales service of equipment, supplies and vehicles (ambulances) for the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment. The equipment includes medical equipment and medical furniture for 2 polyclinics; paediatric beds and scales, vaccine refrigerators, stretchers and beds for the 2 polyclinics and the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) and the Mental Health Centre.

7.Indicative number and titles of lots:

Lot 1: ambulances.
Lot 2: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) equipment.
Lot 3: medical equipment and supplies.
Lot 4: medical furniture.
Lot 5: furniture.

8.Intended timing of publication of the contract notice:

9.Additional information:

Warranty and after-sales service as appropriate must be provided.

10.Legal basis:

Annex IV to the Partnership Agreement between the members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States of the one part, and the European Community and its Member States, of the other part, signed in Cotonou on 23.6.2000 as amended in Luxembourg on 25.6.2005 and in Ouagadougou on 22.6.2010. Reference is made to Annex IV as revised by Decision No 1/2014 of the ACP–EU Council of Ministers of 20.6.2014.
