Description

Overview :

The UNDP under the auspices of the UN Somalia Joint Justice Programme seeks to engage an Individual Contractor to conduct a gender analysis of key justice institutions (formal and informal) regarding their responsiveness to women, children and other vulnerable groups, particularly minority clans and IDPs to facilitate well-informed recommendations for implementation by the Joint Justice Programme. 

Details are provided in the attached Terms of Reference.

Interested Offerors are required to apply via the UNDP jobsite system at https://jobs.undp.org/cj_view_job.cfm?cur_job_id=85439 on or before May 31, 2019.  The application MUST include the following documents in ONE SINGLE PDF DOCUMENT attached to the application on the UNDP jobsite system to demonstrate their qualifications;

  1. Duly accomplished Offeror's Letter of Confirmation of Interest and Availability using the template provided by UNDP; (please see attached template titled "Offeror's Letter to UNDP Confirming Interest and Availability" ).
  2. Personal CV or P11, indicating the past experience relevant to the assignment, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least three (3) professional references; (please see attached template titled "Offeror's Letter to UNDP Confirming Interest and Availability" ).
  3. Brief description of why the individual considers him/herself as the most suitable for the assignment, and a methodology, if applicable, on how he/she will approach and complete the assignment;
  4. Financial Proposal : MUST be submitted using the template provided by UNDP (Please see attached template titled "Offeror's Letter to UNDP Confirming Interest and Availability" ).

FAILURE TO SUBMIT A FINANCIAL PROPOSAL TOGETHER WITH THE TECHNICAL PROPOSAL WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
