Subject of this project is supply and delivery of equipment for the upgrade of AMRES network infrastructure. AMRES Backbone network needs to be expanded to increase the capacity of telecommunication links and integration with the existing AMRES infrastructure which consists of the access network, the backbone of the network and external connections. The scope of this procurement is network expansion with additional 100GE and 10GE services between existing sites.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The Republic of Serbia (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the European Investment Bank (the “Bank” or “EIB”) in the form of a credit (hereinafter called “credit”) toward the cost of undertaking a national digital education investment programme “Connected Schools” in Serbia. The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, an implementing agency of the Borrower and Procuring Agency, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Bids is issued.

The Procuring Agency now invites now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

• procurement and delivery of equipment for the AMRES backbone upgrade. AMRES Backbone network needs to be expanded to increase the capacity of telecommunication links and integration with the existing AMRES infrastructure which consists of the access network, the backbone of the network and external connections. The scope of this procurement is network expansion with additional 100GE and 10GE services between existing sites.

A firm was selected under International open procedure as described in the RFB, in accordance with the provisions of EIB’s Guide to Procurement (“GtP”), which can be found at the following website: https://www.eib.org/en/publications/guide-to-procurement.

The bid evaluation criterion was „The lowest price of the compliant and technically responsive bid”.
