Plant approximately 40,250 containerized shortleaf pine seedlings. Apply Big Game Repellent on approximately 24 acres at Molly's Hill/Bucktail. Apply pre-emergent herbicides on 17 acres to kill Mile a Minute vine, Japanese stiltgrass, and other non native invasive plants. Apply approximately 35 acres of Big Game Repellent at Slate Lick planting site.
(1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(2) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The resulting contract will be firm fixed price.
(3) To be eligible for award, the Offeror must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, with completed Representations and Certifications.
(4) The performance period for this service is NLT 15 March 2022-14 April 2022.
(5) This requirement is being issued as 100% small business set aside.
(6) The NAICS code for this requirement is 115310 – Support Activities for Forestry.
(7) A site visit is not planned at this time. If a site visit is desired, please e-mail Michelle Reed at [email protected] no later than 15 Feb 2022 1500 CST.
(8) Questions regarding this solicitation must be received no later than 1200 CST 14 Feb 2022. Questions shall be submitted via e-mail to Michelle Reed at [email protected]. Answers will be provided no later than 1500 CST 15 Feb 2022.
(9) Proposals are due on or before 1500 CST 17 Feb 2022. Proposals shall be submitted via e-mail to Michelle Reed at [email protected].
(10) Late proposals will not be considered. Proposals received after the date set for receipt of proposals will be rejected. Proposals must be valid for 60 days after due date.
(11) The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offer(s) whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
(12) Any amendment(s) issued to the RFP will be published on this site. Therefore, it is the Offeror’s responsibility to visit this site frequently for updates on this procurement.
