Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Que en fecha 30 de agosto de 2019, fue suscrito entre FRATERNIDAD-MUPRESPA yECOQUÍMICA el contrato con referencia 24970 (PIC2018_23437), que tiene por objetoel servicio de gestión de los residuos generados en los centros de FRATERNIDADMUPRESPA, lote 15 – País Vasco.2. Que el referido contrato, con una duración inicial de 12 meses, actualmente seencuentra prorrogado hasta el próximo 31 de agosto de 2021.3. Que el contrato fue modificado el 5 de octubre de 2020 para dotar a cada centroasistencial de un contenedor adecuado para la gestión de medicación caducada e incluiren el objeto del contrato el servicio de gestión de dichos residuos.4. Que entre los centros de trabajo incluidos en el contrato se encuentra el ubicado en laCalle Astintze, 40, 1º C, de 48160 Derio (Vizcaya).5. Que FRATERNIDAD-MUPRESPA va a proceder al cierre de dicho centro con carácterdefinitivo.6. Que por este motivo, procede modificar el objeto del contrato.7. Que dicha posibilidad viene prevista en el Pliego de Condiciones Particulares rector dela “contratación del servicio de gestión de los residuos generados en los centros deFRATERNIDAD-MUPRESPA.” que, en el apartado 18 “Condiciones de ejecución ycumplimiento del contrato” del Anexo 1 “Ficha Particular de la Contratación” dispone:“Los centros de trabajo objeto de la presente licitación son los reflejados en el fichero“PIC2018_23437 RESIDUOS GENERADOS POR CENTRO”. Esta relación de centros detrabajo puede verse modificada por apertura, traslado o cierre de cualquiera de dichoscentros”.
