Description
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) is seeking information from qualified vendors on the provision of the latest technology for the supply, installation and commissioning of medium sized Conference Room Audio Systems at its premises located in Beirut Lebanon. Interested Vendors to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) are to note the following: Conference room size: medium (up to 25 people) Conference room purpose: In person meeting with power point presentation, virtual meeting, video conference One design is required to be implemented in multiple rooms, at least five rooms, with the following targeted requirements: - The audio system will connect to a computer for web conference and standard video conference codec. - The audio system should be based on the latest Av technologies, with DANTE enabled protocols. - The Audio system should have session recording feature, with possibility of multiple channel recording. - The Audio system should have automatic camera control for active speaker tracking. Most meeting rooms at ESCWA have cisco Webex room series codecs. - The audio system should be connected to the local network for IT monitoring and configuration. - Wireless microphones can be deployed in different rooms during different sessions. - Spare parts to be used in any of the conference room. - The audio system should have minimal cables and high aesthetic appearance. - The Audio system may consist of: - Wireless desktop microphones at least 6 in each meeting room - Wireless microphone receiver - Audio Mixer - As an option Lavalier and ceiling microphones Responses to this RFI shall include the following documents: • System connection diagram • Brand and model of all equipment • Cost estimate • Delivery period • Technical support and spare part availability This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) from the United Nations or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the United Nations to pay any cost incurred in the preparation or submission of any response to the RFI.   Interested vendor to respond to this RFI are strongly encouraged to become UN Suppliers by getting fully registered in UNGM. For registration in UNGM, please refer to the notice, in the "Vendor Response Form" attached hereto. Responses to this RFI must be submitted to [email protected] on or before the deadline of 04 November 2021. The UNESCWA reserves the right not to consider responses to this RFI that are received after the stated deadline.
