Sydney Water is seeking to provide an update as part of the ongoing industry engagement process for the proposed Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC) at Kemps Creek, regarding the project’s proposed delivery strategy and procurement process.

The AWRC project will provide an essential wastewater service for the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and South West Growth Area. It will also be an important project for maintaining water collected within the catchment.

Sydney Water has undertaken extensive industry engagement in the first half of 2021 to help shape the delivery and procurement strategy for the Upper South Creek project. 

As part of Sydney Water’s commitment to ongoing industry engagement, we are now seeking to share the AWRC delivery strategy and transaction process with the market in advance of its release in early August.
