The knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will promote the development of distributed solar 
photovoltaic (PV) systems in Uzbekistan. 

This assignment intends to engage the services of a National TA Coordinator consultant who will provide 
administrative support during the implementation of the TA.
The consultant will provide administrative support to ADB’s project team as well as consultants in 
delivering their outputs and implementation of the TA. He/she will be a central liaison person and 
assist the team as well as relevant counterparts in Uzbekistan, particularly with arranging meetings, 
virtual missions, and other relevant exchanges such as transmitting data and other materials between 
counterparts. He/she is also expected to provide translations as well as any other actions reasonably 
requested by the team. 
The Consultant's scope of work will include, but not limited to the following tasks: 

(i)	provide assistance in the overall administration and implementation of the TA; 
(ii)	arrange and prepare meetings including all involved logistics such as contacting counterparts, 
obtaining confirmations, translation of documents and meeting agendas and/or short presentations, 
setting up online meetings; 
(iii)	arrange and prepare virtual missions;
(iv)	coordinate with the government agencies, schools, contractor, and other stakeholders;
(v)	join project site visits, if required; 
(vi)	supports reporting officers in meeting with Uzbekistan Government, by coordinating meetings and 
performing responsibilities of translator if required; 
(vii)	translates correspondence between reporting officers and the ministries and executing agencies, as 
and when required; 
(viii)	assists in handling the day to day routine in TA implementation in support of CWEN/URM tasks and 
responsibilities; and
(ix)	Submission of short summary of activity log. 
Qualified consultant preferably with a bachelor or higher degree in business administration or related 
field, with at least 5 years of project coordination experience. 

The consultant will preferably have experience in projects financed by international financial 
institutions in Uzbekistan. 

The consultant should have excellent oral and written communication skills (English, Russian and Uzbek) 
and should be able to work well in teams, with executing agencies, and with government officials.
