This is a presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.

 The Government anticipates a construction requirement for an Aircraft Parking Apron Pavement Expansion in Lake City, FL. 

This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310—Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M.     

This will be solicited using FAR Part 14--Sealed Bidding.   The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on or about 22 February 2021 and the closing date will be approximately 30 days after.  Full plans and specifications will be available for download from sam.gov.   A site visit will be held 10 -15 days after the IFB is issued.

Opening of bids will be at the time and date identified on the IFB in Atlanta, GA.  This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. 

This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct Aircraft Parking Apron Pavement Expansion, Lake City, FL.  This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.   Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice.  All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.  Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.  Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
