For

Provision of Consultancy Services for Upgrading a Biodiversity Database for the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI)

Expression of Interest

      Date 20/01/2022

  1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in PPRA Website Issue no. 17012022 dated 17/01/2022.
  2. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism received/has applied for/intends to apply for a loan from the IDA towards the cost of Resilient Natural Resource Management for Tourism and Growth Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for Upgrading a Biodiversity Database for the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI).
  3. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Provision of Consultancy Services for Upgrading a Biodiversity Database for the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI) For A Period of Eighteen (18) Months
  4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant's profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
  5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 - Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
  6. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
  7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Regrow Project - UDOM Office, P.O. BOX 1351,DODOMA , [email protected] from 08:00-15:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
  8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 03/02/2022, 10:00
  9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
