Under the supervision of the Regional Advisor Child Protection, the consultancy group will provide technical support to UNICEF ECARO in preparation for the regional conference on social service workforce/social work, and during and after the conference. In specific, the consultancy group is expected to:

1. decide on methodology for collecting documentation on social work/social services (SW/SS) workforce practices;

1. build story and/or transform social work profession in ECA region in ensuring realisation of child rights in different spheres;

1. construct a draft metric for measuring investment and progress in the social work and social service workforce;

1. provide technical support in preparation for a high-level conference;

1. follow up with specific action points after the conference.
