Objectives The project aims to realize course on Training activities to implement the Data Protection Reform, to prepare professionals to operate as Data Protection Officer. The course will be provided in three countries, i.e. Spain, Italy and the UK, with 30 participants per country (90 in total). Different learning approaches are used, combining theoretical framework, adaptable approach in relation to participants’ background and Challenge Based Learning, in performing experiences in use cases. The objectives are the following: (i) to train professionals to understand privacy rules and supporting them in becoming DPO; (ii) to make learners capable of developing strategic and operational aspects of the personal data processing in different types of organizations Activities The courses will regard theoretical and practical issues divided into three modules: (i) legal, (ii) technical, organisational and impact assessment and (iii) behavioural and security. It will be provided simulations of legal cases, related to issues that might normally occur in a DPO daily practice. Activities will also take account compliance and risk assessment, including the drafting of models aimed at organizing the privacy internal management. Type and number of persons benefiting from the project Each course is addressed to professionals who have privacy as part of their responsibilities in the private sector and professionals, scholars and members of the public authorities. Expected results The project intends to provide a comprehensive and deep understanding of the Data Protection Reform, without leaving aside the practical aspects, in order to increase the knowledge of the European Privacy Regulation. Type and number of deliverables to be produced Different typologies of deliverables will be produced during the projects, such as dissemination materials (project website, leaflets, videos etc.) and training contents of the different courses areas (legal, behavioural, technical and organisational).
