Tenders are invited for the overhauling of Ferry 28, Berowra Ferry and Ferry 57, Lawrence Ferry.

Two ferries need to undergo major overhauling to comply with Australian Maritime and Safety Authority (AMSA) survey requirements and to improve the reliability of service. Under this project the scope of works includes but not limited to, replacement or refurbishment of all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components including blasting, painting of ferry hull and superstructure and safety and operational improvements.

Mandatory vessel inspections and pretender meetings will be carried out at both locations as per the below schedule:

Ferry 28: 12:00pm, Tuesday 18 January 2022 at Berowra Crossing.

Ferry 57: 2:00pm, Thursday, 20 January 2022, at Lawrence.

Tenderers must confirm their attendance for the pretender meeting by 12:00pm  Monday 17 January 2022 by emailing [email protected] with subject heading stating, ‘Pretender meeting attendance confirmation – 21.0000129385.2476 - Overhauling of Ferry 28 and Ferry 57.’

Attendance at pretender meeting is mandatory requirement to submit a conforming tender.

All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government's Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
