Multi-disciplinary Heritage — Lough Erne Landscape Partnership
Invitation to tender for a contractor to develop and deliver a diverse programme of multi-disciplinary heritage projects. This programme will form part of the activities of the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) which focusses on the people and built heritage of Lough Erne.
The LELP invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or organisations to develop and deliver a programme of works which will achieve the aims and objectives of five separate projects. There are strong synergies between a number of these projects, and there will be opportunities to combine and integrate some of the activities and outputs across them to enhance the programme as a whole. However, it is important that the individual identity of each project is maintained throughout.
Individual Projects:
— memory map: Life on Lough Erne;
— mapping the built heritage of the Islands;
— the study of vernacular buildings;
— Enniskillen – the development of the Island town;
— people, place, power and pageantry: Exploring Fermanagh in the time of the Maguires.
