The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Armament Center intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to Avnet, Inc. 2775 W Cypress Creek Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33309-1750, CAGE Code 1W091 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 for VxWorks Software Licenses which they are the only provider for this software and the associated support. There are no other authorized vendors for this software. The resultant contract shall be awarded as a twelve (12) month, Firm Fixed Price, commercial contract with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods utilizing FAR Part 12 streamlined procedures. The applicable NAICS Code for this is 511210.
For this effort the contractor is to provide VxWorks 6.9 ARM Cortex A9 in order to maintain organic support capability for government works. The Avnet, Inc. is currently the only vendor providing VxWorks software support.
