Η συνολική διάρκεια της σύμβασης μπορεί να παρατείνεται μετά από αιτιολογημένη απόφαση του αναθέτοντος φορέα μέχρι το 50 % αυτής ύστερα από σχετικό αίτημα του αναδόχου που υποβάλλεται πριν από τη λήξη της διάρκειάς της, σε αντικειμενικά δικαιολογημένες περιπτώσεις που δεν οφείλονται σε υπαιτιότητα του αναδόχου.
