This notice is to advise that the General Services Administration (GSA) intends to negotiate Southwestern Global Services, Inc. dba AT&T Global Services’s contract: GS07T08BGD0007, on a sole source basis for continued performance up to May 31, 2023. This contract will expire at midnight on May 30, 2020. This existing regional LSA contract will be negotiated and awarded. The estimated dollar for this extension is $1M shared. The contract extension is authorized under FAR 6.302-7 (Public Interest), exception to full-and-open-competition. This is not a formal solicitation. The extension is required to allow more time for agencies to incorporate IT Modernization as they plan for and execute the transition from MLSA to the follow-on Enterprise Infrastructure-Solution (EIS) contracts. GSA has determined that an extension is in the public interest because it will enhance cybersecurity, promote technical and operational efficiencies, and promote long-term cost savings. The NAICS Category is 517311 - Wired Telecommunications Carriers. The work will be performed in Region 7 (LA).
